Wine Description:
Made in St Julien, Patrick Maroteaux makes some stonkingly good wines. Very well run and sure to please the higher end palate, this a great place to start for affordable investments.
Wines Year Description:
The 2006 is similar in quality to the 1996 and has a full savoury taste with ripe fruit and just pure quality. However with an edge that may prove not to some tastes, this is a 93 point wine. I would say that it will be good till 2027-30 and therefore an average investment for a 7-10 year period and selling at last hurrahs! A middle ground choice. If you have the cash right now then buy this for a 5-10 year hold as the credit crunch has brought down prices.
