Vines originally from the Haut-Bergey estate, Michael Rolland and Jean-Luc Thunevin make strong wines in tiny quantity, a real cult wine and love labour work. Great if they produce a good wine because it’s difficult to get later on! |

Sweet smoky dark fruit liquor which almost sits and falls from the tongue with very good grace. Tobacco and wood seem to linger and form a powerful Pessac that you can really drink at speed. But don’t because this is rare and fantastic. Invest if you can find. 96 Points from RPJ. Will last for another 20 years and is ready to open, 2 more years for peak drinking. |
