94 Points were awarded in 2003; it has a life expectancy of 40 years, so as a medium priced medium named Bordeaux this will increase in price incrementally from here and will become more distinctive in taste from the looks of the reports by RPJ. In taste it is 60 Cab Sav, 30 Merlot, 10 Cab Franc – which means it’s sweet, soft and polished with strong aromas of summer edge. Creosote and dark fruits, spring flowers and earthy stone and tobacco. A vibrant and eclectic mix, yet profound and subtle. I would have scored higher, but I guess time will polish this more. |
