St Emilion, dry red blend. One of the 1st Growth’s and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong investment wise, with this type. But beware price and choosing the best of a good bunch. Harvest can be cut in half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines to get hold of. See year 2000
Wines Year Description:
This is dead for drinking. 2005 was the finishing year. It will carry historical value from now. As an example a bottle of fine wine from the 19th century will carry worth like an antique but can not be drunk. I wouldn’t suggest buying this at all unless you are a serious obsessive fan of the wines, was graded 93 points and was considered to be meaty and spicy but controlled and typical of the series. See 1990, 2000 or 2001.
