Wine Description:
St Emilion, dry red blend. One of the 1st Growth’s and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong investment wise, with this type. But beware price and choosing the best of a good bunch. Harvest can be cut in half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines to get hold of. See year 2000
Wines Year Description:
A terrible effort for the winery shaped up better over the years but hold many imperfections. Cedar and spice in the nose, and vanilla in the over taste make this an agreeable taste but certainly nothing special. RPJ gave this 89 points and I would say this is moderate restaurant fodder. DO NOT BUY; there are much better years to look at. See 2000, 2005, 1990 etc.
