Wine Description:
St Emilion, dry red blend. One of the 1st Growth’s and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong investment wise, with this type. But beware price and choosing the best of a good bunch. Harvest can be cut in half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines to get hold of. See year 2000
Wines Year Description:
Only a 92 point wine, not great. I would suggest leaving this for both the drinking experience and investment experience which really wouldn’t be worthwhile. See 2005/2006/1990 for better choices. Taste of coffee, dark fruit and spice, but smoky and thick linger and unrefined aroma makes this an unequal adversary for the years suggest above. Prices are lower now but I wouldn’t suggest a purchase. Maybe if you love Cheval Blanc!
