Wine Description:
St Emilion, dry red blend. One of the 1st Growth’s and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong investment wise, with this type. But beware price and choosing the best of a good bunch. Harvest can be cut in half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines to get hold of. See year 2000
Wines Year Description:
A 55/45% mix of Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This is not the usual mix but pretty straightforward. Black fruits and Menthol, not my cup-of-tea, but certainly a strong wine. A potent and aromatic smell of earth and plums, this is 93 point wine from RPJ, I’d give it a 90! Ready to drink 2005, will live for another 12 years. I think the time has passed to make money from this but if you hold it for 5 it will grow at 5-6% a year and maybe a little more at the end. See 1990
