St Emilion, dry red blend. One of the 1st Growth’s and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong investment wise, with this type. But beware price and choosing the best of a good bunch. Harvest can be cut in half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines to get hold of. See year 2000 |

A very fragrant 93 point wine that is a blend of 59% and 41% Merlot and Cabernet Franc. See 2006 or 2000. Tastes of menthol, liquorice and leather with dark fruits, not as refined as it could be but very good. Will grow with age. Was ready to drink in 2006 and will last till 2022. I would buy now because prices are cheap and hold for 5 years. But if money is tight for choice, then this should be left! |
