St Emilion, dry red blend. One of the 1st Growth’s and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong investment wise, with this type. But beware price and choosing the best of a good bunch. Harvest can be cut in half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines to get hold of. See year 2000
Wines Year Description:
Only 80,000 made. It’s a 90 point wine from RPJ. This is nearing its spike in price for 2010 when it will be matured. It will be drinkable for another 18 years. This is a good investment in the short term, especially as prices are falling due to the credit crunch. See the 2005 for a great version. Tastes of Herbs, menthol and dark fruits with a powerful earthy aroma, this will open more in the next 3 years. See 2000
