93 points. This is like the 2002, an average edition for the winery. Tastes like blackcurrant and other dark fruits, red fruit and spices. There is a hint of chocolate and liquorice, and I believe the aroma is smoky and pronounced. It will live till 2019 and be ready to drink in 2004. A medium bodied wine that will be good if you already have it, otherwise buy the 2003. |
