Wines Year Description:
96 Points. Better off with the 2005. The earlier wines like these didn’t move much and 2005 has shown a new benchmark. A deep mid-palate, long wine. High mineral nose, liquorice and cassis, dark fruits and spice box in taste. This is a refined delicate taste but not bloated or over exhausted. Will live till 2035 and was ready this year 2008, so perhaps with the 2005 ‘show-boater’, this will pick up over next 10 years at maybe 5% a year.
