A dry red blend from Pauillac, usually a blend of 80/20 of Cabernet Sav and Merlot. A rich ‘cult’ collectors wine! An estate receiving more attention from the Rothschilds so this may gather pace as an investment in a few years.
Wines Year Description:
A 91 point wine, this is a sleeper vintage which may need several more years before opening up and receiving higher praise. 80/20 Cab Sav and Merlot, this is a dense dark ruby wine that has aroma of cedar, crème de cassis, earth and gentle spice. In 2 years at 2010 we will see where this wine is heading. More of a specialty wine and too speculative to be a serious investment choice at this stage.
