Wine Description: |
A dry red blend from Pessac Leognan made by Jean Delmas, this is a classic wine that hits the entire mainstream buttons for investment. It grows well, carries low risk and is beautiful to drink even in a bad year! It is a 1st growth with production up to 15,000 cases but expect 12,000 on average. This is great for investors because the quantity will go fairly quickly. |

Wines Year Description: |
One of the most famous of all Haut Brion’s ever produced. This wine scored 100 points with RPJ. It is considered to be one of the greatest 1st growths ever produced. The flavour in the aroma is enough to send you across the room when the wine is being decantered and you will pick up scent of jam, tobacco, spice, oak, dark fruits and smoke. The scent leads into a wine that is pure and elegant but a powerhouse of dark fruits and scorching in the finish. This wine will live till 2028 and I guess that in 10 years this wine will be worth 7-15k more than it is now. It was ready in 2003 to drink. Buy this is you can afford it, but this is no beginner investment. Very rare! |
