Wine Description: |
A dry red blend from Pessac Leognan made by Jean Delmas, this is a classic wine that hits the entire mainstream buttons for investment. It grows well, carries low risk and is beautiful to drink even in a bad year! It is a 1st growth with production up to 15,000 cases but expect 12,000 on average. This is great for investors because the quantity will go fairly quickly. |

A real cracker of a wine! 98 points from RPJ and a small production make this an excellent investment even if you missed the first 8 years. 51/42/7 percentages of Merlot, Cab Sav and Cab Franc, spices and oak leap from the glass, with earthy mineral edge taking a finer note over the wine. The dark fruits intertwine into a powerful and superb finish. This will live 2040 and is ready in 4 years in 2012 to drink. This will rocket in price over the next 5 years and now is a great time to buy because the credit crunch has lowered prices. Buy this if you can find it! |
