Wine Description: |
A dry red blend from Pessac Leognan made by Jean Delmas, this is a classic wine that hits the entire mainstream buttons for investment. It grows well, carries low risk and is beautiful to drink even in a bad year! It is a 1st growth with production up to 15,000 cases but expect 12,000 on average. This is great for investors because the quantity will go fairly quickly. |

Wines Year Description: |
52, 36, 12 percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Sav and Cabernet Franc, this is structured medium bodies Brion. It was bottled late and scored only 94 points with RPJ. See the 2003 or 2005 for better options. Sweet cherries, dark fruits, liquorice and oak score from the glass in the aroma leading to a structured taste and long finish. It will live till 2020 and is ready next year 2009. Like the 03 I would recommend this as a short term buy at a cheap price carrying medium risk. |
