Wine Description: |
A dry red blend from Pessac Leognan made by Jean Delmas, this is a classic wine that hits the entire mainstream buttons for investment. It grows well, carries low risk and is beautiful to drink even in a bad year! It is a 1st growth with production up to 15,000 cases but expect 12,000 on average. This is great for investors because the quantity will go fairly quickly. |

The 2005 is still the better choice here, but the 03 remains a fantastic wine. It scored 95 points from RPJ and has improved in expectation over the few years. Aromas of mulberry, blackberry and fruit, this is a wine that conceals high tannins and that is no word of a lie! High alcohol and a long finish make this a remarkable wine and in the grand scheme of world wide appreciation, you can’t fault the power. It will live till 2036 and is ready as of next year 2009. Buy this now for a spike in price as a low-medium risk choice. |
