RPJ Score:
90-95
Wine Description:
A dry red from Haut Medoc. Often referred to in a light hearted way as the Premier Grand Cru within the region. One of the southernmost classed growth estates. 33,000 cases produced overall and many considered being truly great wines. Not a mainstream investment but it certainly has cult appeal and a track history.
Wines Year Description:
92-94 points as a guideline by RPJ mean that this could well be a great achievement ready to finalise in verdict by 2010 when the wine matures. It has jam and dark fruits intertwined in aroma that lets earth and meat tinge the nose in a distinctive wine. Its medium bodied and very pure, refined to drink. It will be ready in 2010 and will last till 2027, so this could be a great wine to buy to drink or one to add as a very small part of your collection. This is not an investment for a beginner especially if your cash is limited as it is too speculative.
