RPJ Score: 96-100
Wine Description: A dry red blend from Pauillac. One of the most famous wine names on the planet. This 1st growth carries enormous weight as one of the best wines to drink and as an investment. 2003 was known to be one of the best wines ever made! These wines will drive up to £50,000 a case in their lifespan when they hit the spot with the critics. The winery dates back to the 14th century in name, but it was the 17th century where the winery grew in fame as a fantastic maker of wine.
Wines Year Description: The classic 100 Lafite that entered high end 5 digit figures and remains difficult to find in high provenance! When decantered the jammy cherry and black fruits intertwined with lead pencil lift from the jug and you can taste a dazzling array of dark fruits and sweet berry shots. An amazing achievement the wine will last until 2070! Ready to drink now. This is a strong wine to buy or invest but it will cost a lot and you will have to hold for 5-10 years to make the money needed to make it worthwhile. It will mostly likely be a 30-40 wine in 5-7 years
