Wine Description: |
A dry red blend from Pauillac. One of the most famous wine names on the planet. This 1st growth carries enormous weight as one of the best wines to drink and as an investment. 2003 was known to be one of the best wines ever made! These wines will drive up to £50,000 a case in their lifespan when they hit the spot with the critics. The winery dates back to the 14th century in name, but it was the 17th century where the winery grew in fame as a fantastic maker of wine. |

Wines Year Description: |
This is a blend of 86.5 Cabernet Sauvignon and 13.5 Merlot. This has a full body marked with light flaws for a Lafite, but carries refinement in the finish. It has a hint of lead with a black fruit scent, mixed with sweet red and black currants, plums and cedar. Rated 94 the wine became ready to drink in 2007 and it will last until 2020. Cheap to buy at the moment, this is a good wine in a bad year. The price will grow at 10% a year starting 2009 I believe because of low quantity and an improving face, and is much undervalued at the moment. |
