A dry red blend from Pauillac. One of the most famous wine names on the planet. This 1st growth carries enormous weight as one of the best wines to drink and as an investment. 2003 was known to be one of the best wines ever made! These wines will drive up to £50,000 a case in their lifespan when they hit the spot with the critics. The winery dates back to the 14th century in name, but it was the 17th century where the winery grew in fame as a fantastic maker of wine. |

89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Merlot. The wine has been rated 96+/100 alt, ready to drink by 2020. This is an exceptional investment as the wine will be drinkable until 2050. Considering the 2005 is a great overall year, this is a simple solid achievement, coming down in price at the moment because of the credit crunch. Perfume of Graphite, springs flowers and dark fruits, this is an extremely refined powerful wine with a long finish. Great now, even better in 5 years! Will certainly hit the 20k mark within 10 years! |
