Wine Description:
A dry red blend from St Estephe. This wine is a second growth that commands a large cult following. American and Europeans are shown to be a large part of the fan base. Buy this wine as a young bottled (not en premeur) and wait for the initial grading which should be above 94-96 for an investment. Don’t expect mainstream performance but you can see a double effect on price. This would be from 1k – 3k with a good year. Keep in the long term.
Wines Year Description:
91 points – This is a vintage which is improving with age and has some way to go yet with maturity around 2025. This is a good example of a wine which should show an upward curve if the ratings continue to improve as the wine matures. The wine is a dense purple colour, aromas of black fruits and spice with plenty of tannin. A muscular wine with some development to go, one to watch.
