RPJ Score: 90-95
Wine Description: A dry red blend from St Estephe. This wine is a second growth that commands a large cult following. American and Europeans are shown to be a large part of the fan base. Buy this wine as a young bottled (not en premeur) and wait for the initial grading which should be above 94-96 for an investment. Don’t expect mainstream performance but you can see a double effect on price. This would be from 1k – 3k with a good year. Keep in the long term.
Wines Year Description: 92-95 points – A wine which will cellar for another 30 or more makes it a very accessible investment opportunity for those seeking a sensible entry point and this wine offers just that with some real potential. This wine itself is a deep purple colour with layers of finely tuned tannin, aromas of blackberries, cassis and flowers. A fantastic wine for the vintage and top investment bet, build up some stock over time.
