A dry red blend from St Estephe. This wine is a second growth that commands a large cult following. American and Europeans are shown to be a large part of the fan base. Buy this wine as a young bottled (not en premeur) and wait for the initial grading which should be above 94-96 for an investment. Don’t expect mainstream performance but you can see a double effect on price. This would be from 1k – 3k with a good year. Keep in the long term.

This wine itself is a deep purple colour with layers of finely tuned tannin, aromas of blackberries, cassis and flowers.
