Wine Description:
Pauillac - Medoc, dry red blend. This is the sister wine of
Lafite. Often a good investment. One of the 1st Growth’s
and very popular world-wide, you can’t go wrong
investment wise, with this type. Harvest can be cut in
half for different years, and this will mean rarer wines
to get hold of. See year 2000.
Wines Year Description:
Similarly to Lafite Rothschild, Mouton is experiencing a
huge growth in demand from Asia and has developed quite
a status symbol. You only have to look at the last
couple of months of 2009 to see the effect this has had
on Mouton across all vintages, with liv-ex reporting
Mouton as the biggest climber for November. The new
Mouton has been reviewed by James Suckling & Tim Atkin.
Both disagree but both are above 96 points. Would that
indicate that this is therefore a very good year? Since
we have our own review I would say this is correct. Buy
this and you will most likely end up with an 8K Mouton
within 5 years. As Lafite 09 is difficult to buy, I
would suggest looking at this.
