Wine Description: Pétrus is from Pomerol. It is a Merlot based wine. The owners are the family of the Libourne wine merchant Moueix. Pétrus is perhaps the most expensive wine in the world. Difficult to source. We can source this but we do not stock the wine directly.
Wines Year Description:

The 2009 Petrus is destined to be one of the greatest Petrus’s in history, perhaps beating  the 1989, 1990, and 2000. It shows an incredibly complex powerful nose and body, elongated finish and perfectly blended spice and fruits, sweet tannin and perfect balance of obscure flavours bring this tiny production into a world of it's own.You need a decade at least of maturity before opening. Prices will go through the roof. Expect this wine to be worth 60k plus per case in the next 10 years. It should evolve for at least 50 years.

Only around 2000 cases have been produced roughly.
